Feedback from PQSynergy 2011

2. Venue
   1. The conference room at Le Meridien was suitable for 70 attendees in PQSynergy International Conferece.
   2. The hotel provided extra area for exhibition and cocktail party.
   3. The buffet lunch was set with international food.
3. Paper Presentation
1. The topic were widely presented for smart grid, smart metering, transformer, voltage sag, harmonic, renewable energy, economic crisis for utility.
2. Our participants are aboard from oversea (USA, New Zealand, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, China) and also from host country (Thailand).
4. Special Function: EPRI Session, Cocktail Party and Technical Tour  
   1. EPRI session was interested by PEA. More than 20 participants from PEA were supported to attend the EPRI session for “SmartGrid” by Bill Howe.
   2. Cocktail party was organized after the PQSynergy for first two days. Everyone enjoyed the appetizer with wine and beer.
   3. Technical Tour were alternative between “Mea Sa Elephant Camp” and “Sa Ha Co Gen Power Plant”.
   4. The Mea Sa Elephant Camp was very impressed from our attendees. The activities of elephant were showed such as elephant painting, elephant team football playing, and elephant band.
   5. Sa Ha Co Gen Power Plant is renewable generation from biomass (wood, corn, husk, corncob). They have dust filter technology implement into this power plant. They support the research on fast growing plants. This power plant provide a lot of knowledge for our attendees.
